The Call Duck Association is a group set up to promote the health and welfare
of this popular breed. Many of these
ducks are kept as pets and we aim to provide advice on looking after the birds via our newsletters as well as on the web. We also
promote the breeding and exhibition of pure-bred Calls. Juniors are especially welcome, and are
encouraged to manage and show Calls.
We pride ourselves on representing the interests of a wide-ranging membership from novices to long-standing Call duck breeders and
judges. The Secretary of the Association is Graham Barnard, a very successful Call duck exhibitor and breeder of over 20
years experience. He is also a wildfowl breeder. Chris Millward is Chairman. He also has bred both ducks and chickens for many years
and is experienced in running large exhibitions. There are ten
British Waterfowl Association judges on this committee of fourteen.
